Books have been such a blessing to so many and there is a huge resource of good books which will inform, edify and educate but you will only receive the benefit of them if you read them. For so many of us reading a book can be daunting, which one to chose and there is so much else pressing for our time like… Facebook, Instagram, series, films, YouTube, sleep. To challenge these obstacles this summer at LPC we are launching a new initiative to help everyone who wants to be blessed by good books.
The Codex Society will meet once a week over the summer to chat about and discuss (over a coffee) a book or part of a book which they have read the previous week. E books will be provided for those attending. This way the Codex Society will provide encouragement and accountability for book reading which in turn we trust will be a blessing to all who get involved.
