God’s word is central to the believer’s walk with God. As a church we want to encourage as many of our members and congregation as possible to get in to the habit of reading God’s word regularly.
Back in the summer of 2018 a good number of our congregation committed to and completed a 90 Day Bible challenge. We wanted to see what we could do to encourage more people to read God’s word regularly as the benefits are profound and many. Just for example How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. Psalm 119:8
We want to encourage as many as possible to make the commitment to reading the bible through in a year. It is quite possible (Pastor Andrew has done it for over 40 years now) we are not going to hide from the fact that it is a significant commitment, reading on average 3 pages a day (of the LPC church bible). BUT think of the benefits if you can’t think of any click here to find out more.
God willing, we are going to have a good number of people who will commit to this reading plan and we will be able to encourage each other so start by…
- Praying about it.
- When you are ready to commit Sign Up so that we can encourage each other.
- Ether download a soft copy of the calendar, ask Mummy Rachel for a hard copy, or sign up to the M’Cheyne One Year Reading Plan on youversion

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8
